The C5 SP from Cordoba is a nylon-string acoustic guitar styled in a gloss polyurethane finish. Its top is crafted of solid Engelmann spruce, while the back and sides are fashioned from mahogany. A traditional wood rosette adorns the sound hole, and other appointments, such as a composite binding, round out the aesthetics of the body. The neck offers a scale length of 25.5”, a C-shaped profile, and a pau ferro fingerboard complete with 19 frets.
Cordoba gold tuning machines secure the strings to the headstock, while a pau ferro bridge affixes strings to the body, and a bone nut and saddle offer additional resonance and clarity. Finally, by means of a dual-action adjustable truss-rod, you can fine-tune the action of the guitar if needed, to compensate for changes in string tension or climate.
